Kuravilangad church


Kuravilangad refers to a town in Kottayam district of Kerala, India. The city is located in the Meenachil Taluk, about 22 km north of Kottayam, and is located near the city and places like Kalathoor Ettumanoor, Kalikave, Vempally, Marangattupally, Kurianad, Monippally Elackad and Kanjirathanam. Kalathoor is located 6 km from Kuravilangad.Our Lady asked them to build a church where a miraculous spring driven life, a source that still exists today. Kuravilangad church was built in the third century, only a hundred years before Constantine declared Christianity the official religion in the Roman Empire.It consists of about 2,500 families and 10,000 faithful.
