Maha Shivratri or Maha Shivaratri is one of the few popular festivals among religious Hindus. This festival is celebrated every year on the day of the moon at night and 13/14 the decline phase of the moon in February and March and is celebrated around the world. Shiva, known as the Destroyer, is celebrated by the followers of Maha Shivratri (the night of Shiva). Each year, the night 13 and 14 th day of Krishna Pakshi (waning moon), millions of participating in this fascinating ritual.
